Networking and Research Profile Building for Postdocs and Fellows

The Networking and Research Profile Building Project is a development programme for postdocs and fellows initially developed by Researchers14. The programme covers a range of skills to help postdocs and fellows raise their profile and build a network to help them succeed in, or beyond, academia.

During the programme, participants are introduced to the concepts of networking, giving them practical strategies to assess and build their networks. Participants discuss and reflect on building confidence and planning successful collaborations and partnerships. The course also examines the interplay between networks and profile, in addition to discovering how social media can be an effective tool for building both.
